Electrical Engineer
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Place of work: Montreal, International Projects
Objective: The electrical engineer is responsible for the design, testing, integration and installation of Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment for civil and military projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Detailed design of communications systems, selection of components, and preparation of integration and installation plans
• Preparation of documents and procedures for Factory and Site Acceptance Tests
• Analysis of radio coverage patterns via specialized software
• Design of SCADA and HMI applications with integrated tool (Indusoft Web Studio)
• Configure, test and troubleshoot systems
• Prepare training documents
• Prepare and deliver factory and site training (OJT) to specialists as designated by the client
• Install, test and commission systems per procedural documents
• Provide tech support via telephone and email

Required qualifications (minimum):
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
• Five (5) years of experience in systems integration
• Experience with specialized test equipment such as power meters, spectrum analyser, vector voltmeters, signal generators, etc.
• Familiarity with Autocad
• Familiarity with programming
• Familiarity with equipment related to antennae, control towers (fixed and mobile), equipment racks and electromechanical installations

Other skills:
• Diplomacy and tact in dealings with colleagues, hired labour and others who may be delegated by the client
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and under pressure
• Willingness to contribute to the efforts of a team
• Good language skills in English and in French
